I wanted to know how to test your hdd?

With what program you look at the S.M.A.R.T?

And what used to program a complete diagnosis?

With lots of experience, one just needs to power on the drive to tell what the problem likely is.

Without experience, there is too much to discuss, beginning from types of drives, tools, what happened, etc.

I tell everyone in my organization to use HD Tune Pro. It's harmless, looks impressive, instills confidence. I tell them to check the SMART data and run a surface scan.

I use another program to view S.M.A.R.T Attributes ed i same the surface test with HD Tune.

S.M.A.R.T Attributes i view with Crystal Disk Info or HDDScan or Acronis Drive Monitor.
