Thanks for quick reply, offcourse i have heard of encryption, encryption will not allow any device to read data from it or it will give error if a device try to read data from it, i want data protection in a way that it should be visible to user as well as it can be read from hard drive but no one can copy any kind of data from HDD.
thanks

Ok I think I understand what you are thinking.........well of course you can lock down the computer or any drive using administrator rights and password but you would also have to make sure somebody can't use a bootable device and put the operating system offline and copy accross the data. So I think a combination of encryption with administrative control should do the job. Deepfreeze might also be usefull. If somebody manages to make a change to the system on reboot it would return to how it was previously.
