Indeed, after some Gentoo or ALT* didn't get my SCSI right, I haven't paid *nix enough attention, yet now I'm glad you mentioned about it. I just downloaded a couple of fresh distros and find them quite appropriate and handy, let alone worthy. Although GUI-homefans would desperately scream in disgust in vain, I find command prompt ok, however, it does require to be more attentive

But how come such features setup is also no really popular with computer-literate people? I mean there're so many different and contradictory comments regarding the very same HDD's, where people keep forgetting that AAM, APM, DCO and other features do really matter and make great difference; why so few pieces of software, anyway?
