Sata WD HDD changing model number and serial number

I need restore my old hdd on new one, cloning is sucesfull, but one app dont work, because license depend on hdd serial and modelu number. Both HDD are the same from WD. Is some solution how can I change these numbers? I am ready to pay.

Which program is that ? If your computer runs on Windows, perhaps the HDD model is stored in a registry key, which you could simply edit to replace it with the current model... Open regedit and do a search with the serial number from the former drive.
Or perhaps you could explain the issue to the developper and get a new license for the new drive...
