HDDSuperClone - Virtual Mode For Data Extraction

December 19th, 2019, 10:18

I can use HDDSuperclone in normal clone mode but am not having any luck with the Virtual Disk option to extract data without cloning the whole drive. I have followed the manual but the program stops responding when I try to start Virtual Mode. From what I can understand the virtual disk should show up in the recovery software you are using, in my case R-Studio for Linux, but I'm not getting anything.

I've emailed the developer but has anybody used the Virtual Disk option and managed to extract data this way?

I'm using the Pro not the free version.

First, for some reason your emails went in my spam folder, which I do not check on a regular basis.

Second, I recently had a major hardware failure on my primary computer, and am limping along on an old computer that is normally used for testing. My primary focus is getting back up and going normally. So please give me a few days to respond.

Latest release version 2.2.6 seems to have fixed the problem for me..
