How do AI app builder pricing tiers translate into real mont

I handle IT purchasing for a small office in New York, and we're looking at AI app builder tools for internal workflows. The published pricing tiers look simple, but the fine print on seats, usage limits and overage charges makes it hard to compare what a year of use would actually cost. My main concern is getting surprised by usage-based billing once a few people start building apps regularly. A tool that looks affordable at entry level could end up more expensive than a higher flat tier. Has anyone here tracked real monthly spend on these platforms after the initial plan? I'm also unsure how credit or message limits reset, and whether unused capacity carries over. Any experiences with how costs behave once usage grows would help me decide.
