How to backup Outlook Express email folders and settings

I want to reinstall Windows Xp soon, as I got a virus and after cleaning the computer doesn't work as smooth as before. I gives some strange erros and sometimes it justs hangs up... I want to backup Outlook Express emails and settings before reinstall, and restore afterwards. Any help?

I didn't use OE for years (as I'm using Thunderbird) but I remember an easy to use and really good tool exists and i found it at 'tomsterdam' so have a look at that site http://insideoe.tomsterdam.com/resources/tools.htm and sure you will find it

Outlook express is really easy to transfer emails, account settings, address book. All you have to do is locate the dir which the data files are stored something like doucments and settings\application data or \local settings\application data and copy the files into the new directory search google for the correct directory.
