HD DR Seagate

Hi guys im a very new beginner on this hdd repairing stuffs ...
I just bought HD DR Seagate from Salvation Data and it arrived 3 days ago ...
Ive been playin with it everyday full day for 3 days now ...
But I still have no idea with almost all of the menus & functions ...
Im Blank ... I have no ideas of what are FW SA Sector SCAN Self Scan and everything ...
Even tho I graduated from Computer Science from a Uni in Sydney Australia ...
But I never heard a thing such as FirmWare ... my bad ... LOL ...

And I think I should need a real complete tutorial for that ...
The user manual from Salvation wouldnt help me much ...
Coz it doesnt tell things like ...
If my HDD not detecting, then what are the steps we should take ...
If my HDD got bad sectors, then what should we do ...
If so on so on ... then what should we do ...

I've been a computer reseller for 4 years and I have like 150 pcs HDD ready to repaired ...
But I have no idea how to do the repair on them ... Shame on me ...

If anyone know the helpful link / resource to learn more about HD DR Seagate please share with me ...

Give yourself at least a couple of years before touching a client's live drive.
