HDD Scan question

January 3rd, 2008, 7:37

I have been trying out HDD Scan v2.8, which seems to be a good program. However the docs that downloaded with the program are unreadable, as in example ÈÍÒÅÐÔÅÉÑ
1. çàäåðæêè ïîäîáðàíû èñõîäÿ èç ðàçìåðà áëîêà äëÿ òåñòèðîâàíèÿ â 256-òü ñåêòîðîâ
2. âåðèôèêàöèÿ ìîæåò íå èäòè ñ áëîêîì äëÿ òåñòèðîâàíèÿ áîëüøå 256-òè, ýòî îãðàíè÷åíèå Windows
3. äëÿ USB-äåâàéñîâ ôóíêöèÿ Verify îáû÷íî ðàáîòàåò íåïðàâèëüíî

How can i get readable docs for this software.

Thanks

Doc has been written in Russian
This is the reason why you cannot read it

Unfortunately English doc is not exist

In HDDScan3.0 English doc will be included (probably :) )

Hi,

It is possible to know the difference between the "Verify" and "Read" commands. Also, when the Erase command is selected, are all sectors between the Start LBA and End LBA erased or only those whose read delay is over a certain amount (500ms ?).

Thanks.

Verify mode is using read verify command
Read mode is using Read command
