Clone/Image software for OS only???

Hello!

Are there any apps that will clone or image a boot drive, but limit it to the OS and any necessary structure to restore a bootable copy? Everuthing I see will only image the whole drive or partition. I'd like to preserve my OS but don't need to back-up the other 200gigs of files on the drive.

I vaguely remember Acronis Trueimage 9 (Maybe 10) advertised it could back up and restore certain files. I haven't tried it yet, so don't know for sure.

Hi,
Why doesn't just keep it simple, make a partition of 20gb for the system and make an image of that.
Or do I miss the point?
