MRT or DFL-PCIe 4X

Which is better according to the experience of colleagues who are already working with these tools. i got a response from dfl i haven't gotten from MRT yet everything that would help me decide. thanks in advance

I read everything I get even before registering on the forum. I ask questions because a lot of these topics are old or no one has answered for a long time. And one should always ask so if there are good people to help. DFL PCle x4 experience that I find a little on the forum

One main question should be asked:
Can you buy PC3000?
If yes, go for it and forget the rest.

If money is a problem, the monthly payments allowed by MRT can be a good way, but be ready to be out of support or help from them....
DFL is different about support (they usually answer and they are much more "alive" on their forum than MRT).

I contacted Ace lab but my prices are high right now.
MRT contacted never responded.
DFL contacted got a response and a price that is affordable to me for PCle 4x.
Now I am most interested in experiences with DFL, but I read all this on the forum, but there is little concrete information and newer posts.

I've been using DFL products for the past 7 years and have been very satisfied with them and DFL's service and forum. Have a look at DFLs many videos on YouTube to get an idea of their capabilities.

If you contacted MRT about a potential purchase and they didn't reply then you can draw your own conclusions as to what their after sales support will be like.. I know this from my own experience of using MRT Ultra. Apparently if you know a bit about PC3000 or look up the videos about it on YouTube then you can learn a lot about MRT from them but you shouldn't have to rely on somebody else's product to learn about MRT offerings.
I don't know anything about DFL so can't help you with that.

I definitely gave up on MRT tools. If Ace lab has some kind of more flexible payment method I would buy it. According to this DFL seems to me as the best solution has options pc-3000 + de and support. So I ask the question who uses DFL and has an MRT or some other to see the experiences and stop asking stupid questions and finally decide to buy. : D

Makes sense to take your time. It's quite an investment whatever route you go down.

DFL is good product, comes with good support and it is updated once a year or so. The forum community is fairly active as well. There are quite few members, as there is training going on around the world.
Again, not as great as PC3K, but it is a solid choice among advanced tools.

What most people coming into this industry don't understand about PC3K is that it is a platform-tool that handles just about any type device out there (or at least Ace is trying hard to), especially in the SSD area.
Other tools struggle with this. They may be doing fairly well a subset of what PC3K does, but they are always playing catch up and often not in the most needed recovery areas at the present time. You will have devices coming in and realize that there isn't much you could do with less capable tools. It will be frustrating, but it is part of the journey.

But there is a catch though - if you go with a less capable tool, you will be forced by the circumstances to do things outside the box, study harder, do more things manually, experiment and improvise more, which make a tech better. This is a good thing in the long run.

SD, I couldn't sell them all (still have 3 or 4 doctors), MRT was sold finally (but I still could make money with it, imaging drives mostly) and to be honest DFL I still keep it.
They are announcing some developments that PC3K can't do so I will wait for what they say/release.

But in the end: PC3K and DDI are the tools I need.

Hmm,.... DFL-PCIe 4x, and PC3000 UDMA, ... which one is better if budget is not a problem? I mean, what usually appears more frequently in a data recovery shop? A lot of easy cases that can be solved via DFL, or just a smalll number of cases with medium/hard difficulty that need PC3000?

Basically I want to get the best one, but, along with the budget constraint I'm still afraid of not being able to use it proficiently, ... yet, ...
