Hello to everyone.
I hope this would be the right thread to ask my question. If not, please, advice, where to ask.

I need to hide a manufacturer's name of HDD and hide a model name. So, when you attach to PC (at OS level or even at BIOS level) you will see connected HDD with capacity, but name will be whitewashed (or changed).

Is there any tools, which could help me with the case? So far, what I could found as a solution is to "create your own FW for the HDD where this info will be cleared out. And upload it to a HDD". And creating a FW for HDD is a task a bit out of my league.

Thanks
