Need firmware WD15EADS-22P8B0. Is it necessary to have a PC3000 card?
Does anyone have the full version of the package maybe SeDiv?

Hello, this is my second post did not have time to say hello. My name is Peter and I come from Polish. My English is how to say, lame and are backed by some with the help of google translator. So that, I'll start by saying that I drive in the settlement of my best friend, and frankly I do not know what his original story, so I will start from the moment when the disk came to me, this drive comes from a family WD Green series its full model is WD15EADS-22P8B0. Well, when you connect the drive to your computer, the disk accelerates normally, you can hear the calibration heads, shoulder knocks heads, feel normal vibration, but as you can see in the attached picture
The disk is now detected in this way, Please note that the picture shows a different picture than have charging BIOS on the computer, so I just wanted to show what it looks like.
Programs like mhdd in this way detect disk
.

and in this case also wanted to show me how it looks Drawing on a picture taken from the internet.
Next, flipping through the internet I came across a program SeDiv WD DEMO version 3.9.1, which among other things to detect the drive also helps to detect loading the module SA, Flash and others, and what you see on the pictures attached:
A colleague writes what I want to do with the disk? Already I write, so I want to fix this drive because I know that this is the way to go. Data that are on the disk for me are not important and can be deleted, cleared, I do not care for them. I want to use disk as anyone knows.
That is why we need this firmware, or a copy thereof, and optionally a soft, that will help just upload it.
Since I will add that the disk is not a scrap purchased with the words DO NOT TESTED, just as I write, I will also add that, Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I am an unemployed boyfriend, who can not afford the expensive equipment type DFL-WDII or PC3000-PCI. That is why I am looking for the forums has just this type of assistance which any well-wishers. If I have any more questions about the drive or its label, please write it. Regards Pikus_09 (Poland)

Ok tomorrow I will try to attach the files, but it seems to me that the drive does not charge service area. I should add that the drive is SATA.
I realize that buying a new drive is out of the situation, but if this art is mechanically efficient? Only stupid initiation ...
BTW. If a topic is in the wrong section, please move it. Thank you very much for your kind help, pikus_09 (poland)

Spildit, those MODs are ROM MODs, not SA MODs.
NazYura's MAVR utility was written for older drives, so its checksum computation for ROYL MODs will always fail.
Instead you need to compute a 32-bit little-endian checksum:
- Code:
C:\Downloads\WD\WD15EADS-22P8B0>C:\Downloads\CHKSUM2 -32 *.mod
0A_0001.MOD: 512 bytes checksum32 = 0x00000000
0B_0001.MOD: 512 bytes checksum32 = 0x00000000
0D_0001.MOD: 512 bytes checksum32 = 0x00000000
30_0002.MOD: 1024 bytes checksum32 = 0x00000000
47_0002.MOD: 1024 bytes checksum32 = 0x00000000
4F_0002.MOD: 1024 bytes checksum32 = 0x00000000
90_0064.MOD: 51200 bytes checksum32 = 0x00000000
B5_00FF.MOD: 130560 bytes checksum32 = 0x00000000
C0_007A.MOD: 62464 bytes checksum32 = 0x00000000

Exactly.
That log was produced by a utility that analyses ROYL modules as if they were pre-ROYL modules. That's why it only attempts to find MODs with single-byte IDs, and that's why it looks for the checksum in the wrong place.
Moreover, the utility is unable to access any SA MODs, which suggests that the drive's firmware is broken and does not allow SA access in the normal way, ie you may need "low speed" mode or "CHS" mode.

Were you able to recover the data?

Was watching patiently the thread and was surprised as Mr. spildit was using teamviewer to correct the rom.
But what will happen now? Will Op write the rom with Wiiliam programmer. How Op will get the correct rom to program externally?
what is the procedure for writing the rom with programmer?

Hello everyone, I was looking on the net for the PCB for this drive, and something possessed me to once again enter the numbers of stickers, and unfortunately came out, I was mistaken with another model, plate number 2061-771640-M03 AB, we have it by ebay is the correct PCB for this drive model, And I have to tell you that I managed to persuade parents to Willem programmer latest version available, useful for recording the appropriate file ROM.bin and programmed several churches Flash BIOS, in Friday or a Monday for me to be with me, and I think that this together to succeed.
November 30th, 2013, 8:48
Ok, I suspect that on Monday will be the programmer, cramps himself did not want to believe that this unlucky PCB is correct. Gee I do not know how to repay you Spildit colleagues, and others who have visited my topic for your time, only what I can from each other, write it from the heart THANK YOU!.

Spildit buddy, with your help, I'm sure that the HDD will return to the world of the living. And my question is whether the subject is in a good section? Does not affect the forum rules? As you have you convinced I am of Polish and are backed by some google translator. And if somehow violates the rules he asked me to transfer this topic in other more appropriate place to make it well.

Hello, in particular, buddy spildit Willem version 7.1 on the LPT port is already in me (
http://www.gotronik.pl/programatory/willem7.html, will be good?), The site is in Polish so I suggest you use google translator. Colleague Spildit, fiddling with the drive we need to put down on a Saturday because I work at my father's car, do not think of myself that I bailed case, I have it in mind, but also have domestic responsibilities.

December 8th, 2013, 17:37
hey spildit buddy, we must unfortunately leave some time to play with the drive until I find a new bone PM25LV020, ehh lot narobiło, that I tried to upload a file ROM.bin you did with my copy of this disc Willem, but unfortunately, the bone through manipulation and fun was damaged electrically and mechanically (been broken individual pins) itself is efficient drive electronics are not damaged pads. I hate to ask, but if he could colleague would have the memory of home in their resources (if only friend has this type of resources). I hope that this information will not discourage buddy for further assistance with this disc.
December 13th, 2013, 15:25
hello everyone, Ok, chip SPI to me it is already going to the stables winbond W25X20, it is a replacement but 100% compatible with the original PM25LD020. On Monday we shall try again to upload the file ROM.bin in programmer;)
Ps. as is already uploaded the file, and all filed together then I'll talk to you on skype buddy Spildit ok?
December 16th, 2013, 16:03
