AISI, the underlying problem with any data recovery software is trust. ISTM that at the very least you should clarify your relationship with SeDiv (on your web site) so that the public are not confused by it. If I were you I would try to see things from the perspective of a potential buyer. Even if "Mr Div" has authorized the use of his brand name, at least initially, ISTM that the impression you create by doing so leads to suspicion which can only damage your business. It looks a lot worse when you try to sell him his own brand -- the impression that it gives, rightly or wrongly, is one of cybersquatting.

Good luck on your Repair Station software. I hope it turns out to be a useful tool. BTW, I can help with the Samsung module, if you have plans for one (I own the source to SHTR/SHT).

I offer Sediv.net to MrDiv Due to Following reason

1. when this domain Near to Expire i will not renew,
2. once it expire, then till 3 or 6 months no one can buy that domain
3. after that this domain will be sold with high price. because its a Rank 1 site in Google for Sediv.

I think its a better option for him to just Pay my Expense on that site, and get the owner ship. i not asking for big money.

I do not use Sedive and I am not going to.
Once upon a time I pulled out a box of DRagFLY donors for utilita so that the author conducted experiments on disconnecting the heads.
But the utility was not friends with a monitor connected through a switch. Therefore, I abandoned it.
You can simply write to the coordinates indicated in the picture to the author and solve questions who needs it.

At one time I was interested in purchasing SeDiv, just to satisfy my curiosity. However, I found it extremely frustrating to locate the author's web site (there is none), and I also wasn't able to determine which people or companies were authorised resellers or distributors (the OP's sediv.net site only served to complicate matters). Then there was the lack of post-sales support, but most of all, there was the dubious licencing. For example, there was a thread in one of the DR forums where a user invalidated his licence simply by changing his monitor.

To me, purchasing DR software is a matter of trust. The OP has explained his arrangement with "Mr Div", but I still feel uncomfortable about it. Moreover, there are other aspects of his web site which also make me uncomfortable. For example, there are whole slabs of text which can be found on other, unrelated web sites. This suggests plagiarism.

Valera (author of the utility Sediv) does not have any company. He is just a talented programmer. Protection he bought (or developed for him) Chinese friends. He tried to make his site on Narod.ru, but Yandex closed this resource. And then all sorts of companies have already tried to sell its utility. But Valera is always passionate and busy. To activate the utility again, which may stop working due to a change in the network IP or monitor replacement. You need to wait up to a month. He does not like to advise on naive issues.

But it no longer works. All other companies - distributing Sidiv are just intermediaries.
Which could not solve all the issues with the author.

it looks like a nice piece of sw with a lot of work invested. I just came to see this thread and could not get what that other thread was for where you requested info about fw objects. It is a bit odd to me that you seem to have quite limited info about how hard disks work yet building sw like this and it does not make me feel good that all the info you use in these comes from some other dr software. Obviously no original research is done, just sucking all the info up from everywhere. Otherwise that other thread wouldn't have started.
Please accept that people with RE skills don't want to participate making this tool better for the plain reason that it's not our interest. We do share things with people who has something in return (info) and from where our info will not leak.

On the other hand, consider forgetting use of hex and dec together or mixed, it drives users mad. Basically hex is ok for everything, there's calculator if it is absolutely needed to be converted. The same applies to some PC3k dialogs where the default radix is 10.
Inconvenient. And there is only one way it gets worse: using them mixed in a sw.

I can cofirm Wacas developing his own aplication for repairing drives, he has his own reserch/ developing team , and real office and repair lab.
There is a confusion around the name Sediv by a reason Wacas used to work with russian Sediv in the past and had own "sediv" domain which was refused to buy by his partner when they separated.

I can't tell which sw is better coz i am not using them much, but as for me Wacas's repair aplications looks more promissing and everytime heavly impoving.
