Since they have international customers my assumption is, that the software is in English and or that they have an English version. I am still waiting to hear from someone who actually owns a copy of the software.

Just ask them - info@soft-center.ru
It cost $1000 as I see from this page - http://www.soft-center.ru/re2eng/
Also you must buy a flash reader (RE uses it as a protection key) but it's cheap - $210

Doomer,

Yes, I know. I was primarily curious about the product and if anyone on the forum has used it and would be able to share their experience.

Sorry to bring up an old thread but I was looking at Soft Centers Raid Explorer software & was going to start a new thread but found this using the search.

Does anyone use this software? If so what do you think about it?

I see the lifetime fee is $1000 but requires the Nand Flash Reader also (which I'm about to get soon)

or they do a yearly license for $150 which is what i was looking at so I can see how it goes?

Thanks

Loki

You can watch demo here http://raid-explorer.com/manual/Video%2 ... RAID-5.rar

Helps if you know or have used Flash Extractor. I dont have Raid Explorer because I dont have a need for it :)

That video is very impressive. I have never used SC products, but I could see what he's doing there :-)

Thanks for the replys.
Yes I have seen the demos.
What I liked was how they worked out the raid block settings step by step & the visual indicators for the files listed in the MFT.

Doesnt say if it supports delay? but I cant see why not if you know the delay (Delay X Number of Disks)
Was thinking that once you find a few of the block orders you can work out the rest quicky from there diagonals?

Got lost on the demo for finding block size though.
Might still be worth buying it to test at least

Admittedly I normally try R-Studio first or Winhex.

I see Softcenter have updated their Raid Explorer

It now has Auto Fill to work out the block order.
