I want to be able to offer data recovery, such as being able to recover files have been overwritten.

I dont want to go into the specialist market where it costs people a fortune to have data recovered, but I want to be able to recover more than I would by using simple programs such as recuva

Heh, If I lived close enough I would probably do it. I have been working with computers since 1990. I never had any issue I couldnt overcome. Not only did I overcome it but I usually found an easier way of doing it. But trying to find a solution for my hard drive problem led me to looking into this stuff and I can honestly say its the most difficult subject I have ever encountered. I think thats proabably because there really is no easy way of doing it.harddrivespecialist wrote:lew247 wrote:I'm starting out as a self employed computer engineer, and at the moment am quite fine at virus removals spyware etc and speeding up the computer as well as general stuff.
