Mass renamer for word documents

Hi,

I've got some Raw word files that neeed renaming. Is there any decent software for extracting the metadata or title from the documents?

I just googled for a solution and came across the following link:

It makes reference to the ability to deal with Meta information, but I cannot be sure that it will work with MS Office documents.

If anyone has used this program or gives it a try, do let us know how it works.
