Hi everyone, I´m new here and i´m trying to repair some harddisk that i have stored and close to trought it to garbage.
The disk is WD102AA - 00ANA0 and I can format and create partitions but I can´t install anything cause while I´m using the disk for a long time starts to make that sound that we all hate, (tic, Tic, tic, tic). Most of the disk I have presents the same problem.
Suggestions?

Thanks

If heads are damaged drive can't be fixed in a way to be re-used.
Best option - buy new drive.
