July 7th, 2009, 23:25

a friend of mine formatted his hard drive inattentively and he entrusted me to recover files. I searched many products in google and found EASEUS http://www.easeus.com/datarecoverywizard/recover-formatted-partition.htm is good choice, did anybody used this before? I don't want to try many software.

Moderator edit: this is a spam post from EASEUS

Better off with WinHex or a good program - check into Get Data Back NTSF, Restorer 2000 or some other program that will do the job - read some posts here they will give you many ideas on good programs to use for this job

Good luck

Coincidentally in the process of attempting to recover EX2 formatted NAS drive with this program. 11 hours to read, 13 hrs to build file table and early indications 'recovering' segment is building previously non-existing file formats (2.5 Gb .swf files etc).
