I have been looking for more advanced data recovery software, something that works on drives that have a lot of bad sectors and does not hammer the heads causing drive to fail.

Hardware or software based looking to get into data recovery business and away from computer sales which is very poor atm due to economy.

You will need more than software to do this one with. There are plenty of suggestions here on the forum and can do a search on software here to find what others use. Also you will need some advanced tools and you can find them too here on the forum. To start off with you are looking at around 20 thousand or so in material, drives, and software and this can even been more like 30 to 50 depending on what you want to do. Try to read some of the older posts here and do some searches if this is really what you want to do.
