Permanently set Max Transfer Mode to udma4?

I have a Runcore Mini ZIF SSD that has a max transfer mode of udma5. It is quite unstable in this mode (maybe due to the length of and twists in the zif cable) and often freezes or blue screens in Windows. Others observed this problem with the drive as well. Editing the Windows registry to set the max to udma4 makes the drive much more stable. I was wondering if it is possible to permanently set the drive to udma4 in the firmware. Does anyone know what software I can use to accomplish this?
