What's the best software to clone a drive or are they all pretty much the same? I once used a program and it got stuck on a block in the middle of the clone- is there any that will skip bad blocks? |

How does a company like "New Orleans Computer Repair" boast a 96% recovery rate and not have an imager? Quote: Data recovery doesn't have to cost you thousands of dollars. At French Quarter Computer Services, data loss is only temporary and we prove it every day, boasting a 96% success rate. Our specialists use various procedures in recovering lost files, giving the consumer an alternative to $5,000 data recovery houses. We can recover data, even after they have been purposely deleted. I, too, am curious how a company that doesn't even have the tools to mirror a drive can have such a high success rate. Perhaps that is the percentage of drives they have successfully destroyed. |
