This should have been an easy thing to do, but for the life of me I cannot figure it out.

I have download MHDD 4.5 cd image because it has supposed to have a terminal where I can send raw ata commands (specifically SECURITY ERASE PREPARE (0xF3) and SECURITY ERASE UNIT (0xF4)). So essentially I need to send 0xF3 and 0xF4 to the device. How do I go about doing this, where is the "raw command terminal" where I can send these commands.

Thanks,
Sorry for the noobitity.

Clue - look up on how to build a terminal adaptor for this one

You can find some posts in here explaining this one to you look for Seagate 7200.11 HDD bricked drives

Why do you want to do this one

Also download manual it might help you out

SECURITY ERASE PREPARE (0xF3) and SECURITY ERASE UNIT (0xF4) are implemented in the "fasterase" command. Read the manual.
