| Post subject: | MHDD - Send ata raw commands |
This should have been an easy thing to do, but for the life of me I cannot figure it out. I have download MHDD 4.5 cd image because it has supposed to have a terminal where I can send raw ata commands (specifically SECURITY ERASE PREPARE (0xF3) and SECURITY ERASE UNIT (0xF4)). So essentially I need to send 0xF3 and 0xF4 to the device. How do I go about doing this, where is the "raw command terminal" where I can send these commands. Thanks, Sorry for the noobitity. |

SECURITY ERASE PREPARE (0xF3) and SECURITY ERASE UNIT (0xF4) are implemented in the "fasterase" command. Read the manual. |
