Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a Low Level Format tools that makes more than one pass on a HDD.

I'm on a big project and we have to wipe the drives so data is not recoverable.

I need this application to be bootable through USB also.

Any suggestion ?

Make it a bootable linux distro, write a script to dd the drive multiple times, alternating between /dev/zero and /dev/random. Though, it has already been argued that a single pass with dd writing zeros is enough.

Have fun.
