Looking for some good, reliable and comprehensive backup software, free or paid.

- I've got my main drive with OS and documents (600gb)
- Secondary drive with all my movies, music, photos & media (500gb and growing)

Now, i'd thought of something like:

2 x Icy Box USB / External eSata Enclosures
2 x 2Tb Hitachi Ultrastar (Or Reliable Drives)

Ideally, the software would automatically back both of my main drives onto one of the external drives, and then backup that onto the other external drive.

I'd thought about RAID1, but had problems with that in the past.

Just can't decide on a good method to protect my data, and i don't have loads of money to spend on it all.

Hmm, kind of explains what I need.

What reliable drives do you recommend?
