Hello, I am trying to recover my hard drive, after using several programs to attempt recovery of bad sectors, I decided the best thing would be to make a low level format.
I tried installing it from windows HDD Low Level Format Tool, I got error messages like: "Format Error occurred at offset xxx, xxx, xxx, xxx." I tried looking for solution but I have not found any.
Now I'm trying to do a low level format with MHDD, but can not find the option on the menu, not how. I looked for other programs but I have not understood.
Could someone tell me how to do the LLF? Where is the option in the menu MHDD?
Thanks
My English is very poor, excuse me.

OK wait what do you want to do. Recover your data or make a low level format. If you want your data do not make a low level format on this one.

If you do not care about your data go ahead and do a low level format.

Try to clone this drive. You can try and use a software to do this one with. Maybe it is better to try and clone backwards this drive. Considering you have started at the beginning already with a low level format.

After you get as much of it as possible cloned you will have data loss to the sector you have low level formated it to. You only hope after this one is maybe a raw recovery to get what has not been touched by the low level format you are doing.

If not forget about it and trash your drive, buy a new one , start over. That is all your choice now unless you send it to a company who can try and salvage what is left of the drive after you have low level formatted it.

once bad sectors appears on your drive, it doesn't left much of its life, so repairing bad sectors is of no use, yes may be re-mapping your drive and putting bad sectors into p-list would be little beneficial, otherwise after doing a hectic work they will not go for ever..

Thanks to drc, chinopk poehere and their answers. All have been very useful.

Tell them, I kept the information appreciated. Then I did a LLF with the disk utility from Western Digital, but in the beginning when I went to the electric power failed my house and my computer was turned off, then returned to do a LLF and 7h after the end put: ERROR: 0108 Not Seek Complete. The Erase not complete.
And now the Bios does not recognize my drive (even changing it so), but the MHDD, which does not use the BIOS recognizes it. I will try to make the MHDD ERASE and see if my drive back to life.
When you finish the story they erase the result. Thanks everyone! see you later.

Hi all, I say again to tell you the result ..
After trying three times a LLF, the diagnosis of the disk was too damaged to complete the LLF. He stayed three attempts at 70% the end .. So I left and I do a high level format the hard drive, I re-install the operating system. Using some programs, I discovered the hard drive will last less than 5 months. I will Buy another hard disk. Does anyone know tell me a good hard disk SATA 2'5 ? about 320 GB and 16MB for laptops, which is known to be unreliable.
Thanks for all. Good Bye!

Samsung HM320 or upper series, or look for bigger cache. Are you sure it is not the PC ? Continuous bsod and hard reset in the middle of writing lead to problems like bad blocks. I have a solution for your drive but you have to send it.
