How to check and remove bad sectors on HDD?

now i made a check disk on D drive and it says that it replaced bad sectors from my hard disk. Please check the attachment in it. is there any best software which can detect and possibly remove/recover bad sectors ?

and i also want to know whether my hard disk have less bad sectors or more so that i can have a decision to purchase a new one or not. because i am facing so much hanging problem on my PC.

MHDD or similar sector-level scanning software like Victoria. Checkdisk is not a good choice since it writes to the drive.

how to use these programs. i tried both , both open an cmd screen and then i don't know what to do next. if u can send me some guide , it'll be helpful for me.

there are guides o nthe mhdd website and other forums- very powerful tools you playing with there. Did you make a backup of your holiday photos?
