now i made a check disk on D drive and it says that it replaced bad sectors from my hard disk. Please check the attachment in it. is there any best software which can detect and possibly remove/recover bad sectors ? and i also want to know whether my hard disk have less bad sectors or more so that i can have a decision to purchase a new one or not. because i am facing so much hanging problem on my PC.

MHDD or similar sector-level scanning software like Victoria. Checkdisk is not a good choice since it writes to the drive. |

there are guides o nthe mhdd website and other forums- very powerful tools you playing with there. Did you make a backup of your holiday photos? |
