This is a long shot really but i was wondering if anybody has a COM DLL that can be used to read raw hdd sectors.
or some source code using DeviceIOControl to access raw sectors using .net 3.5

I managed to get drive info that is is windows driver dependant using creatFile from the Win32.api . but i am a bit stuck now.
I found allot of brilliant source using c++ but i cant integrate that code in to vb because of security issues bound with .net 2+

Just a sideline project that might be a benefit to all users of hddguru once I get a 'beta' going.
