Hdd Guru is not changing the "PM" (Power Management) setting of my WD Caviar Drive

Drive model: WD10EADS, 1TB, on USB ext. drive.

It says 'supported' but the setting bounces to disabled each time I set something.

It's not a bug but a feature
Current PM value cannot be retrieved from a drive that's why it bounces back (even if it was set correctly)

Is this the issue that you are wanting to address?

"This firmware modifies the behavior of the drive to wait longer before positioning the heads in their park position and turning off unnecessary electronics."

Does the WD10EADS work with WDIDLE?
