the topic says after allot of formats? So assuming you formatted the drive and used it for a while. or jsut full formatted it several times to try and destroy the data?If so its unlikely to get anything back.

Hardware DR is not going to do this one for you. If you have formatted this drive X number of time and also used it for X number of days, months or so on then more than likely the data that was stored on this drive has been over written. If you can not find your data in raw recovery using R Studio, Get Data Back or Win Hex it more than likey is gone. You might be able to find some fragmented files left but not sure how good your changes on this one will be.

Sorry but that is how it works.

the most files i recover from r-studio won't work..wtf

Sorry- that is all you will get. Hardware recovery is used if drive is failing to hardware control certain things that rstudio or any other software cannot do.

You did not say what OS you used to do the format. If you did a full format using Windows Vista or Windows 7, your data is gone. Format was changed starting in Windows Vista. A full format wipes the whole disk with zeros.
