Hello,
I had a toshiba a105 satellite series whose hdd crashed so i simply bought a new seagate hdd and put it in the pc, now after just seven days the laptops motherboard goes bad and laptop just does not switch on. The new HDD that i put in has a bios password to it and when i remove the harddrive and i put it into a different laptop the same bios password does not work. What can i do to make it accept the bios password or just get rid of it? . please help.
Warm regards

Search for hddunlock & AFF repair
Or atola.com then go the bottom of the webpage.
Check to see if your drive is supported.

I bet its not a bios password.
You most probably set up a hdd password in the previous laptop.
If it would be a bios password - this would be active only in this
specific (old) laptop and not cause any trouble in the new laptop.
You have a password locked hdd. Any data recovery company can
help if you need your data.
If data is not that important - forget the hdd and buy a new one
or try the suggestion of @loki
