Does MHDD work for a SATA 1 HDD? If it does, what are the commands to use to do a full under wipe? What are the chances that it will work without it hanging?

That depends on the hardware & BIOS settings on the PC you are using. See:

For a typical PC, the important setting is for the SATA controller to be switched from AHCI to IDE/compatibility mode.

I have not seen MHDD hang - but of course, the success or failure of a command depends on how sick the disk is.

At that second link above, am I looking at erase sector or whole drive, or am I in the wrong part of the page?

In my BIOS, it's set as SATA 2. My uncle set it last year. He told me yesterday to try Victoria, or MHDD. Could someone compare both of those tools?

Does MHDD erase the S&A of the HDD? S&A would be (Sector/Address). Or no public software tool can erase it? What would happen if MHDD erases the S&A? Would it ruin my HDD?

I'm looking for some advice on this one tool I'm using. It's not an HDD erase. This tool is to repair drives. I hope someone would be nice enough to provide advice.

At the time I was looking to use HDAT2, and some how it damaged my whole entire drive including the MBR. I done something, but I don't know what I done.

I'm using HDD Regenerator, and it's been scanning my drive for a few days. So far, it scanned my whole drive of bad sectors. I'm counting on this tool to repair every single sector. I don't want to buy another drive. I don't have money for drive repair. I don't own any of those tools either.

1.) How good is HDD Regenerator? I heard good reviews.

2.) What are the chances that my wish will come true that it will repair?

I got a question about ERASE command
Default it set to 350ms, but can I somehow set the time manually ? for example 100ms ?
why would i need to do such thing? i whant to get rid of the green blocks <150ms
or maybe there's some other way to remove those?
