Hello everyone, because my harddisk has bad section, so I want to use MHDD to Erase WAITs time>350ms, yesterday someone told me the HDD Low Level Format tool is better, but I know once use HDD Low Level Format tool to format harddisk, all of my data will lose, so I only want to use MHDD to Erase WAITs time>350ms (because use MHDD, my data not lose),
I have a problem: if I use MHDD the bad section erased really disappear or use HDD Low Level Format tool the bad section really disappear? Which effect is better ? Or I must use MHDD erase waits time>350ms then use HDD Low Level Format tool to format it? Thanks very much!

My friend only suggestion for you is -

1) copy all data to another hard disk & send it for RMA if under warranty
2) After ensuring all data is secure , zero fill hard disk ,it may work ,if not scrap this hdd
no software can repair bad sectors as these sectors must be listed in firmware.

better you backup all of your data, before useing MHDD for repair,
if i would be yours, i would like to backup 1st then try Low level format than zero fill format :)
