If you need the data inside the drive you will have to take it to a data recovery center.
The only thing that you can try is remove the drive from the external enclosure(usb box) (assuming its an external drive) and try to connect directly to the sata port of the computer.

check with manufacture of the notebook and see if it is under warrenty. Then if it is there is a place on there that will tell you what to do to send it in for RMA. If no go to the website for the drive and enter the S/N of this one and see if it is under warrenty. If so follow what they tell you to do on this one to send it in for RMA.
