How to Access the 48 TB NAS Linux / XFS system

Hardware is 24x2tb each - NAS (with Propritory OS but we can add our own os like windows / linux)
linux - XFS.

How to Access under Linux or
How to Access under Windows ?

Any cross-platform tools to access the data or recovery tools ?

Then you had better clone all the drives first and work with the clones. This is already an expensive recovery, based on its sheer size. But, you make one mistake and you will either render it completely unrecoverable or, at the very least, make it a lot more expensive.

Well, right. Sorry I was not clear. I know what proprietary means, just wanted to clarify what it means in the context of what you are doing, namely XTS is not a proprietary file system, but also not quite a commonly used file system by average people.

There are readers for Windows, incl. UFS Explorer, our ReclaiMe, and I can't recall if R-Studio does it.

However, the sheer size of the array would be the problem. First, you need a Windows machine which can connect 48 drives. Normally, you'd rather work on clones, so you would need to clone 48 drives. Then, if there is any logical damage to XFS, scan times would probably be weeks.

UFS tried by the team, it is not working.
presently it is mounted on 1 TB Windows XP(64).

seems Partition is damaged...similar instance is simulated on OTHER NAS result is same.
Solution either to rebuild the Partition or FILE level Recovery will solve the issue...

These are tricky.

Have to know/determine where the data volume starts, etc.

May have to create regions, scan, and so on.

Once you set up the hardware and tried some readers, that really becomes a support case for the appropriate recovery software developers. General course of action is the same for everyone, the specifics vary.

I guess there is an Option here, but i tried it long time back.

Use Bootable R-Studio Agent from the machine where drives are connected, and access it remotely
