I would like to recover some files from a hard drive. It appears to be functional, just can not boot or see files. Also, I would like to have this ability on hand. Please suggest a docking station and software. |

Based on the limited diagnosis, you are likely better off getting the drive assessed by a data recovery lab before things get worse. |

The drive issues aside, do you suggest any software and equipment. |

Members would suggest something if it would be feasible. What if the drive does not work? A docking station would be useless. What is the MDL of the drive? Once we know the MDL, then we would know what interface it is. Then we suggest ways to connect, possibly without the need of a dock and so on. |

Connect it directly to SATA and check in MHDD |
