I'm wondering the same thing, it seems nobody knows exactly what the tool does.
Does it "just" write and verify zeros?

Hi. I think in the name of this tool is a kind of misinformation. Low Level format of modern HDD is made only once at the factory. No need for LLF and no possibilities to do this with any software! What actually does this tool? I think it only wipe all hard disk with zeroes. Am I right? If no, please say what actually does it. |

I don't know exactly, however I hope it is capable of low level formatting a Windows 8 disk, so far nothing has touched it!! |
