Indeed no ext ROM. But can potentially find other ways to read and write ROM from USB to SATA, right?

Hi Guys ,
What did you do in this case .Whats the SATA PCB You Used .As I Have a Tool That Cannot Connect To USb and Work With Firmware The Only Possibility I See to Read Rom Is Either Tap SATA Lines Or Transfer The Complete MCU .Need Your Suggestion .This Drive is a Self HDD Needs No DATA Recovery And is also Smartware Protected .No U12 ROM in This PCB

If you have PC-3000 you can read the ROM code via terminal, or even via boot ROM if that doesn't work. I've yet to ever have to transfer an MCU for one of these.
