Hi Members.

I mistakenly formatted my HP Probook 4520s system partition loaded with Windows 7 Professional Edition 32 bits using Vista OS Installation DVD.
I quickly aborted the setup process tried to reboot into Windows 7.
A message displayed showing.
BOOT MANAGER IS MISSING
PRESS CTRL ALT DELETE TO RESTART.

I TRIED USING WINDOW 7 DVD TO REPAIR THE OS BUT THE INSTALLED WIN 7 WAS NOT DISPLAYED.
I HAVE TRIED USING BOOTREC COMMAND BUT ALL FAILED.

UPON FURTHER INVESTIGATION, I DISCOVERED THAT MY DRIVE C:/ HOSTING MY WIN 7 OS FILE HAS CHANGED TO RAW FILE SYSTEM.
THE SYSTEM PARTITION WHICH I HAD FORMATTED STILL SHOWS NTFS FILE SYSTEM WITH FEW TEXT FILE SHOW MY ATTEMPT TO RECOVER THE SYSTEM AND THE SUBSEQUENT ERROR MESSAGES.

THE SYSTEM PARTITION IS 300M
BUT PRESENTLY SHOWING 275M FREE SPACE.

PLEASE HOW CAN I RECOVER MY SYSTEM PARTION AND OS PARTITION (c:/)

THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Helo,

try to connect drive to another computer and use some sw like R-Studio to recover files. Don't user recovery media shipped with your HP.
If you are not familliar ask pro for support
