Couldn't write correct ROM to PCB. PC crashed with blue-screen when WDR tries to write ROM on that PCB.

Was talking with OP on Skype and he will buy correct PCB for the drive and Willem external programmer.

For some reason writting ROM with WDR sometimes it's not a good idea .... It tends to not work properly.

But what will happen now? Will Op write the rom with Wiiliam programmer. How Op will get the correct rom to program externally?

I've made a backup of the ROM on the first place.
WDR crashed / Windows crashed so the ROM eneded up damaged (on drive).
Now OP will have to wait for the willem to arrive to connect it to the ROM chip of the PCB and get the ROM.bin that i left on the desktop flashed on the ROM Soic8 chip.

Also that ROM was already NOT NATIVE for the drive, so correct ROM have to be made by using the correct set of adaptives on a ROM of the same firmware version of the Drive.

Can you unsolder the ROM chip from the pcb to programm ?
If not you might need the SOIC8 clip.
Check PCB for ROM chip (8 leg SOIC8).

This Chip is SOIC8. So I then solder system. It has the Hot Air. On the other hand adapter to SOIC8 already have drawn enough etched in B327. So that no problem;)

We can flash back the ROM that was damaged and start all over again.
