I should have mentioned in first post , this is not my computer, I do pc repair and it is for a customer of mine. I'd just assume pull the drive and install a new one and reinstall windows, I figured Id help the guy not incur the cost of doing so.

WD3200BPVT-22z sata drive has hdd password set on gateway laptop after trynig to figure out how to finally get scripts into the script directory and get a working image mhdd gives me “error: no drq” when running any of the scripts (.dump,.dump2,etc..) trying to use zu.exe doesnt work after a few hours , put it in a pentium 4 machine also no go even tried victoria hdd tool on hirens to unlock also default WDCWDCWDCWDC and h2oinsyde password not working i would like to see what password was set , any other way to dump the bin? |

If you can prove ownership? just take or send it to a DR Pro who has the tools & knowledge to do this for a fee. is the data important? if not & you want to try DIY then you will need to do a lot of researching. Members on this forum cannot prove you are the owner of the hdd drive & helping you to bypass the password could end them in a lot of trouble if the drive turns out to be stolen. if data is not significant, exchange drive and reinstal o.s. because as said here we can not verify owner good look |
