HDD GURU FORUMS

WDR return this error while I'm reading firmware: unknown error BE01.
what means?

If replace new donor pcb into hdd and I set jumper into safe mode, war gives me this msg while I'm reading rom:
read flash - FFFF=NOT_AN_ERR_VSC_CMD_EXEC_IN_BKG

but file downloaded is 0 KB!

I can make write flash, with these 2 msg:

erase flash: ... NOT_AN_ERR_VSC_CMD_EXEC_IN_BKG
write flash: ... NOT_AN_ERR_VSC_CMD_EXEC_IN_BKG
but I get again 0 KB file

I replaced pcb and rewritten original rom on pcb but hdd is always detected as 0 size from bios
suggestions? Someone told me to rebuild 4f module
