I'm just curious if anyone has any experience using these:

http://en.mrtlab.com/mrt-pro

I currently have PC-3000 etc. and I'm not expecting it to be able to do anything I can't already do. I'm just curious about how well it works for data extraction, ROM re-programming, WD slow responding fix, and other basic stuff.

I'm thinking of buying one just to have an extra station for the basics when my PC-3000 is tied up.

Just wondering if it's any good for the basic stuff - ROM reprogramming, SA backup, imaging (speed), etc.

Like I said I'm just looking for something to handle the basic stuff when my PC-3000 is tied up with a job and I need to handle some basics.

Have you seen The Guard movie?

It's like sgt's Boyle order: “Hot whiskey, John-Joe, please. And a cold one while I'm waiting.”

We do the same here - if one PC-3000 isn't enough, buy another :)
