HDDLLF tool 4.40 "how to enter the license code"

New user:
I downloaded HDDLLF tool 4.40 and bought the license $3.30 for personal/home use (no speed limit):
The license key was received, however the start-up screen does NOT show an Enter code button.
Please advice!

I believe you have a button after you start the software to enter the key.

It appears that after you once entered a valid license code in ANY version of HDDLLF 4.xx, the button to enter the license key 'disappears' (it is not shown anymore). I installed 4.25 in 3/2012 with a valid license key and uninstalled the product3 months later. Last week I reinstalled 4.40 with a newly purchased personal license key $3.30 (that seems now to be unnecessary) and 4.40 became automatically activated (not showing the license key enter button) because it 'remembered' the still valid license key from 2012!
