Is it necessary to have a flap that closes the front of the laminar flow cabinet to cut down on dust when the product is not in use?
Also are all lamps fitted UV?
Cheers

Mine has the flaps. I usually have them removed though as they get annoying when working. I don't really know how much difference they make. Just be sure to let the hood run for a few minutes before opening the drive to cycle the air. And periodically wipe down the interior of the hood for any dust that does float in between use.

Hi..
Mine doesnt have any flap to cover. The cleanbench im using is inside a special built room with overpressure inside with a special filter. So when i open the door to the room dust can never enter inside the room, it will push air out and dusty air can not enter inside the room. Also i dont need to change the filters in the cleanbech so often as others where the cleanbench is in a envoiroment where there is dust.
Thx.
