Hi all..I'm new here please forgive me if I'm in the wrong section. Trying to Resurrect an Acer Aspire SA 80 MMX 2 To run win 7 x64.
Windows is having trouble seeing the drive I want to install on. It's a Maxtor Diamondmax 10 SATA 160GB. The drive tests 100% ok.
Having trouble locating the driver for windows to see it. I've searched for perhaps newer firmware from Seagate but no luck.
Any suggestion will be great. The drive was running an XP install alas the mobo died. Local computer shop said to my senior citizen customer to buy a new system. I'm trying to recycle as many original bits as possible. The drive is fine. Windows x64 cannot find it! The current firmware is BACE1G10.
