Hi I want to explain you a scenario. I have a storage that can detect it's hard drive. When I replace it's sas hdd with another sas hdd this storage can understand and doesn't accept the new HDD. But in China there is somebody that can copy something from original HDD to new HDD. Then the storage accept the new HDD. I don't know what does he do. But I guess that he copy the firmware. what is your idea? |
