This problem is PCB, ROM, no spindel. Attatch photo PCB front and rear.

Head stiction or detached heads. Not DIY unless you have head tools, clean room, good imaging equipment, experience, ect...

No, it's NOT a PCB issue.

It's stuck spindle, either heads stuck to platter surface or heads assembly mashed into ramp.

Hi, i've tried changing the PCB with that of another of the same type hdd (When I bought this hard drive I took two) and the problem persist.

Pictures 1 and 2 are on the disc that have the issue, while the photos 3 and 4 are those of hard working.

I also believe that it does.

Do you think there is an attempt to unlock without opening it? I do not know maybe a magnet, freezer etc? I will not open it because it is still under warranty.

Thanks a lot guys.

You're spinning your wheels changing pcb etc. You're wasting time and money.
This is definitely stuck heads and needs clean room work.

If data is valuable, stop experimenting, you're only going to make things worse.

Consult a good DR lab to get your data back.
I suggest Luca at http://www.ultrarecovery.com/

Good luck.

PS. Wow, an Esprit. A failed Esprit.
